This training is not for people who only care about quick fixes. This is for anyone who is creating a leadership role for themselves within their community or organization.  It’s for people who want to leave their mark and create positive change.  

This training IS interactive. Your commitment to reflecting on the tools presented and doing your best to ask questions and offer your own examples and ideas to the group WILL result in a sense of confidence and clarity about human transformation that you likely have never experienced before and that will come out in your work - often on subconscious levels, but also in ways you will visibly, viscerally and audibly notice.

This training is about creating a path for you that fulfills and excites you and continuously brings you more opportunity for helping others and sharing your wisdom.

1) Neuroscience is the core curriculum, not an addition

The biggest difference is that the neuroscience and neurobiology information is the centerpiece of the curriculum, rather than a side-note.   The reason for this is that my experience and research show that when people truly understand and internalize the mechanics, and ‘inner workings’ of the mind, mental states, emotions, they are better able to a) replicate it because these processes are now conscious and b) explain it to others because they have the correct wording for it and a step-by-step explanation, rather than noticing things without knowing ‘why’.

2) Personalized, Authentic Connection-Building

I’m moving away from the increasingly popular model of an ‘expert’ getting people to pay for their knowledge, but then packaging it for the masses and having little to no actual interaction with the participants.  This model goes against what I teach – presence, connection and ‘psychological safety’ are core needs for learning.  This can be done through technology (for example, in the video conference sessions), but I hope to model trust- and empathy-building with students in ‘real time’ – because that is how they will be interacting with the people they are leading.   

3) Follow-Through and Follow-Up Incentives

Most training programs don’t give you incentive to actually take any action.  Because you will be sharing what you already know and practice, you will be challenged to implement your insights and apply neuroscience directly into your work.  Follow-Up: the community we build will give you a chance to re-connect and share insights and challenges with your fellow participants.  I really want to see leaders have the impact they know they can have, and I think having a chance to follow up with community members will help them refine their long-term impact.  

Monday sessions will be focused on education: learning about the various aspects of brains, nervous systems, behaviors, motivations, etc., with relevant research.

Wednesday sessions will be entirely devoted to participant questions, challenges, examples, ideas. I will bring up any content or questions that were submitted ahead of time (via a google doc form) and then we will explore questions, challenges and content that any of the participants wish to share during that time. If time goes over and we haven't addressed all of the questions, I will offer an additional session to go over these.

After each session, all participants will receive the recordings and summaries of the session. For those who are not able to attend live, we will send you a time stamp so you can skip ahead to the part of the session that addresses your questions, ideas, content or client examples.

There will be recordings for all of them that you can access any time. For Q&A/Feedback meetings, you can submit your work or questions for feedback and even if you can't make it, I will address them during the session and send you the recording with time stamp for when your question or content for feedback comes up.

There are people attending from all over the world, so the times are based on what can work best for multiple time zones. Office hours and private sessions will be scheduled to accommodate the group's availability as best we can.

Great question! With this program, you'll get a better sense of what's happening 'under the hood' with people you serve and work with (as well as yourself).

In my experience, when people get a better sense of what their clients' patterns might be in terms of brainwave activity, heart rhythms, voice frequency and verbal patterns, limb and body movement, socio-family dynamics that influence brain architecture... this sparks MASSIVE change in their ability to resonate with and heighten their clients' attention, motivation and clarity about what might be blocking them from achieving their highest potential, and what they can do on a very concrete, tangible level to access their most optimized functioning.

So many recommendations are too universal. For example, some people have brainwaves and visible/audible signals that might indicate past adverse experiences or high anxiety. Knowing these types of things can inform our practices. For example, not everyone can do a closed eye meditation at first - they might do better with open eye types of exercises FIRST. Having a sense of where they're at based on body signals (and understanding of potential brain patterns) can help us refine and personalize how we teach and lead others.

With the nervous system audits, you are getting training in how to apply PERSONALIZED, concrete science-supported information about where a person is at, and what they can do to expand into where they want to go and how they want to experience life.

These sessions give you a chance to present (to a wider audience) your own examples and reflections about YOUR clients and YOUR practices and anything you would like to present to your own, clients, staff, audiences and communities. It's a chance to share your wisdom with my network and to get personlized feedback from me, as well as feel the support of a vibrant, open-minded international community learners! In these sessions, we'll talk about how you can integrate neuroscience into your work in order to boost engagement and interest with new and existing audiences, clients and communities.
